CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS
Park Place Arts
in collaboration with Berkshop Theatre
are now accepting submissions of work based on the White River and/or Mounds State Park for an upcoming exhibit. Due to the proposal to dam the White River (Wapahani in the Miami language) at Anderson, this exhibition will celebrate the natural beauty and historical heritage of the river corridor that is currently being threatened.
Acceptable mediums include, but are not limited to:
painting, photography*, drawing, sculpture, collage, glass, textiles, video, sound recording, music, and creative writing/poetry.
WHEN: Deadline for submissions - Saturday August 1, 2015.
The exhibit is slated to open Saturday September 12, 2015.
Submissions are open to the public, but not all submissions may be accepted.
Photographs of submissions can be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org
for consideration. Submissions may also be brought to Park Place Arts during regular business hours, or by appointment. All submissions must be at Park Place Arts by the deadline in order to be considered for inclusion in the exhibition.
Each piece submitted must include:
Limit 5 submissions per individual. $5 submission fee (for up to 5 entires)
* Photographs must be a minimum size of 11x14 inches and mounted on foam core or gator board. Mounting can be provided by Park Place Arts for a discounted rate.
** 30% commission is charged on all art sales.
