BRIDGE Forum News - Bridging Resources Information Direction and Guidance for Everyone

Hi all, hope you are all well. Healthwatch are still planning to engage with the public and share as much information as we can. Therefore, we thought we would still host a ‘BRIDGE Forum’ but in a different way. There is just so much information at the moment; and we wanted to give you the opportunity to keep others updated about what is happening in your world, and to learn from others.

So, we have decided to trial a virtual coffee morning to gauge the feeling of how we are all coping and what the key issues are for people.

We know that attendances at A&E and to GP’s nationally is lower than normal and we would like to ask you and your members how they are coping at this time with their health and care needs. (e.g. are people self-caring or are they struggling to get help?) It has never been more important for us all to be able to put people in touch with the right services; if they aren’t able to get the support they need through you, do you know where to signpost them?
The agenda will include:
  • How are your members managing their health and possibly the health of the person they care for?
  • Is there anything you want us to share with other groups at this time regarding best practice or help you may need?
As always the information will remain anonymous but if you want to share your organisation/group etc please do.

We look forward to seeing you
