Thanks to everyone who helped make Australian Food Safety Week 2015 such a success

Here's a selection of some major mythbusting during Food Safety Week:

Listen to us mythbusting on ABC Radio National

The Uni Of Tasmania was also out there busting myths

SA Health recommended not to wash eggs

WA Health held a great competition for their school canteens and put out a media release and video and did an interview on ABC News website

Glenelg Council SA held a display in their library

The City of Subiaco WA got food safety advice out there

Australian Pharmacy Journal put food safety messages into pharmacies around Australia

Logan City Council Qld is one of our key members and has heaps of info on their website

And there has been lots of social media from the Tasmanian Institute of Agriculture, NSW Food Authority Food Standards Australia New Zealand and Safe Food Queensland

More than 2,000 people have taken our on line quiz. Most people are getting the answers right except that whole pieces of pork can be safely served rare and meat or chicken defrosted in a fridge under 5C can be safely refrozen (although it may lose some quality)
