Saturday, July 26, 10:00am-3:00pm, Portland Mercado, 7238 SE Foster Rd: Hacienda CDC’s Portland Mercado is moving into the neighborhood and construction has already started. They want you to be a part of it by helping DePave the site. They are seeking 100-150 volunteers on a sunny summer day on July 26th. The event will be about creating green space and healthy gathering areas, but mostly about community building getting to know our neighbors. Join us as we transform the Portland Mercado parking lot into a vibrant plaza. This will be DePave's biggest event of the year! Register here.

Tuesday, August 4, 6:30-8:30pm, Kern Park, SE 67th and Center St: Foster-Powell Neighborhood National Night Out Party! Pack a picnic lunch and join your neighbors for a night of community.
