The start of a new year can tend to feel overwhelming as the notion of a blank slate or wide, open path awaits us.

During the month of January, take time to return to that which which offers balance and peace. If you took time off from your practice, return slowly, ease in to your yoga and exercise routines, enjoy foods that nourish, follow creative inspiration and carve out time for yourself.

Take each step in your own time, stay connected to your breath and trust that your inner guide will lead to wherever it is you wish to be... you only have to listen.

New Class & New Instrctor!

We are pleased to welcome Preet Kaur to the Studio Kailash! Headshot coming soon... 

Preet will be teaching the new Thursday evening Holistic Hatha class from 6 - 7:15pm beginning January 2nd! This is an all levels class that focuses on sequencing for alignment, balance and overall well-being. 

About Preet 
Having lived across five continents and being exposed to various cultures and traditions, Preet believes that one language that is universal is the language of the soul.She encourages her students to find their connection with their body and mind through the practice of Asana and Pranayama. She is a certified pilates and Reiki master, and she obtained her yoga teacher training from the Center of Integrative Medicine at the University of Maryland. 
She has recently obtained additional local training in Ayurvedics. Being a great admirer of movement, besides yoga, Preet derives her energy from meditating, hiking, and traveling with her family.
