Kate Evans will be teaching her last (regular) Gentle Yoga class this coming Thursday, December 27th. We will miss you, Kate, & we look forward to having you visit us for special workshops and classes. 

Winter Solstice Party Recap...

We enjoyed our first Winter Solstice celebration at the studio this past Sunday! We are so thankful to all of you who came by to visit, practice & play with us. The holidays can get hectic but when you're at a yoga party, you just can't help but stay relaxed. May you all carry this feeling forward and share it with your loved ones. 

A special thank you goes out to our young yogis Meghna & Sangeetha Antykula for two performances! First, they filled the Padma studio with their lovely violin and piano music. Our little ones were who were in there, working on mandala art were soon joined by the adults. Following that, the sisters blessed the Bodhi studio with their dancing feet & an energizing Bharata Naytam performance. We can still feel the good vibrations at the studio. Thank you Antykula family!

Wondering what else we did? Of course, we enjoyed our mini yoga sessions - Heart Opening Yoga, Family Yoga, Restorative Yoga Guided Meditation.  Ann McMinn & Annelize led classes. 

Kara Dawson was at our studio offering complimentary chair massages. What a treat! Kara is an independent, therapeutic massage therapist. She offers massage by appointment at Mind Body Yoga studio. Visit for more info. If you missed her on Sunday, she's offering $15 OFF for any first-time clients. 

Faith Lynn was on site offering mini Reiki sessions. Connecting to your energy/ prana- what a delightful way to celebrate the solstice. Reiki, just like massage & yoga can be a powerful path to healing. You may know Faith from Gentle Yoga class, she teaches on Sunday mornings 10:30 - 11:45 am. Visit to learn more about Faith's yoga classes, Reiki & bookings. 

Mind Body Yoga is your space to retreat, relax and breathe deeply. When you're here, it is our intention to offer you a practice that allows you to connect more deeply with yourself & discover something new!

Our community is rich in knowledge about wellness & healthful practices. We will be hosting Amy Lohr, wellness coach & writer at our studio in January. She'll be leading a winter wellness workshop : 
"Learning to stay healthy, stress-free and balanced
in the winter time".

As the seasons change, our needs change as well. This workshop combines the ancient wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine with Yin Yoga to give you nourishment and the tools to care for yourself in this season. We will focus on healing foods, lifestyle practices and yoga postures that give you vitality and balance in the winter months.
