CBA Chairman’s Message - Thursday 16 January

Personal Email: nlqc@aol.com

I met with The Lord Chancellor this morning.  He was accompanied by Sharlesh Vara as well as Legal Aid Agency.  Mr. Grayling insists the cuts are writ in stone.

Having teased out the figure of £35m cashable savings being required, I refuse to accept that that figure if found should not be related to the cuts.

My message to the Lord Chancellor: stop misinformation.

My policy: Help find the savings and engage regularly and meaningfully.

My personal view: continue to refuse to do work at reduced rates.

I will set out a fuller account on Monday,

Nigel
