Last Trails Challenge 
Guided Hike of the Year!

November 22, 9am Bartley Ranch Trails
At just over two miles, this pastoral hike is a great one for an autumn morning. We'll walk sections of the Ranch Loop Trail, the Quail Run Nature Trail and the Flume Trail. Discussion will focus on the ranching and natural history of this 117-acre regional park.


(6000 Bartley Ranch Road, Reno) Take Lakeside Drive South and turn left on to Bartley Ranch Road. Meet at the Huffaker School House on your right.

TMPF Member Appreciation Get Together

We've grown a lot over the past 18 months, and much of that is thanks to you and your generous support and involvement with Truckee Meadows Parks Foundation.

We cordially invite all of our current and prospective members to come out to Great Basin Brewing Company on Monday evening to get to know our new team and allow us to get to know you. We are also planning a short activity to get your input on where we should focus our efforts in the upcoming year. 
Complimentary appetizers will be provided by Great Basin Brewing Company, but drinks are on you.

Meet the Turkeys Open House 
November 8th & 9th, 10:00am-2:00pm
Rancho San Rafael Regional Park - Barn
Join the Washoe County Rangers in activities including family crafts and a story corner inside the Discovery Room, a scavenger hunt, and the chance to meet some live turkeys. Bring your camera for great fall and Thanksgiving photos with the turkeys in a photo corner by the main barn.

TMPF is helping out and we are looking for volunteers for this event!

Now is the time to make your voice heard. The City of Reno is undertaking a review of the services being provided by the Parks, Recreation & Community Services.
