First Annual Membership Drive Coming to a Close
Read the tesitmonial by Truckee Meadows Parks Foundation President, Stefanie Givens, below to find out why you should join today.
During this fall membership drive, I ask you to consider the important role that parks play in your life – now and in the future, and invite you to invest in this future by becoming a member of the only private organization dedicated to supporting city and county parks in the Truckee Meadows."
"When my husband and I moved to Reno in 2005, we made it a priority that we would live within walking distance of one of our local parks. After our daughter was born, this became even more important to us. Years later, we still value this access, and feel so fortunate to live in a community with such an incredible network of parks and open spaces.
As a founding board member of Truckee Meadows Parks Foundation, and an advocate for safe, clean and accessible park spaces, I am so proud to include TMPF as one of my philanthropic priorities. As a park champion member, I know that my investment in TMPF is helping to move its mission forward, strengthening partnerships and raising community awareness about our community park treasures.
