Let me take this chance to wish you a happy and creative new school year. It’s true, we’re still trying to recover from the shock of the introduction of VAT to educational services, courtesy of a uniquely inept government in its last throes, a parting gift so to speak. However, we are teachers so we remain undaunted. Incompetent politicians come and go but we have a job to do.
And what a job! I have combined the reading skills and the video pick of the week in one single link with captivating, easy to follow narration, from the Adventure blog of National Geographic.
To ensure an even restart for our young learners, here’s an all time grammar classic: countable and uncountable nouns.
Vocabulary: it goes hand in hand with the article and the video.
Crafts for kids. How about an autumn decorative idea, both for the language school and home?
Our training seminar for this week sports Web-design but also includes the Cockpit Project, a unique tool for resource management. The Cockpit Project is free of charge.
Finally, the CDs of the week are still the Welcome Back series, which contain almost 250 revision exercises.
Educate, entertain, enjoy, innovate, share and don’t forget to be awesome.
