I’ve always found teaching advanced students more fascinating, and this preference of mine is reflected in the picks of the week that follow.
The reading text, an extremely interesting article from National Geographic Magazine, might help you redefine the concept of failure. Once you’ve read it, there are many things you can do with it, and, needless to say, you’re welcome to share your ideas. The vocabulary activity that follows uses words from that very article.
The grammar activity might come in handy for your B2 and upwards levels. It could be a great chance to introduce (or remind) inverted conditionals.
The craft is not exactly in keeping with the previous activities in terms of level or age group, but it’s great fun. Tried and tested.
Two exhibitions are scheduled this week. The Europalso Conference on the 26th http://www.europalso.gr/Conference/ and the Foreign Languages Forum on the 29th and 30th http://www.eltnews.gr/athens.html Don’t miss out on any of them. Find me at the Flexible Multimedia stand. Looking forward to seeing you.
Our first web-design seminar of the year is held on the 27th. Your 21st century skills are literally a click away. Be your technologically-minded students’ hero or heroine with just three hours of training.
Educate, entertain, enjoy, innovate, share and don’t forget to be awesome.
