I hope we have all survived the shock of the first week back to school. I don’t know about you, but I could have done with another week or two.
Still, we’re back, and that’s an undeniable fact. Let’s make the best of it. So here it goes:
Reading: I love BBC as you may have gathered but this is for rather advanced students and it wouldn’t do to leave the younger ones green with envy. I have discovered some animated stories that I’d love to share with you. Good for A - B senior. For more stories, look up my “CD of the week Part 1” section.
Grammar: are you by any chance introducing modal verbs? Here’s a couple of activities for you. You can find more in the “CD of the week Part 2” section.
Crafts: make a tree house! It’s inexpensive, it’s simple, it’s fun.
Cooking: have you started burning the festive calories yet? Even if you have, the following isn’t too rich. Enjoy Jamie Oliver and his roast potatoes. Mind you, he doesn’t call them “perfect” for nothing!
Training: Flexible Multimedia will be running seminars starting this Saturday with a combo event: Web-design and the “Cockpit Project”. Details HAVE BEEN released, so sign up!
CD of the week Part 1: our Grammar series, A-Day, B-Day, C-Day and D-Day, spanning A - D senior classes, gives you all the theory and practice you will ever need. Get them at a discount, €20 instead of €30 per level, or €60 for the lot.
CD of the week Part 2: Spellschool Series, our e-readers, will equip you’re a-D class students with all the reading skills they need. €7 per level, €50 for all nine.
Educate, entertain, enjoy, innovate, share and never, ever, cease being awesome.
