BREAKING NEWS: School Board Election Results

Dear Tiffany,

Thank you for staying tuned in to the news and activities that impact West Contra Costa students, families, and educators. Below are the results from yesterday's election.

With your support, Measure T passed.

This is a win for our students. Measure T will bring $9.8 million in funding each year -- approximately $100 million over the next decade -- for librarians, counselors, sports, and smaller elementary class sizes throughout our community. Learn more about Measure T.

New leaders selected to represent our students and school communities.

Tom Panas, parent of two boys who attended WCCUSD K-12, has lived in West County for more than 40 years. He serves on the Black Minds Matter Strategy Team and works with the Latina Center. Since the 80’s, he has volunteered with educational organizations, library, food pantry and historical society. Tom is a retired Chief Financial Officer and has an MBA from UC Berkeley.
