A Trip Back in Time for 4th Grade

THomas Jefferson school logoThe fourth grade boarded coach buses early yesterday morning and transported back to the year 1607! The entire class traveled to Jamestown for their annual immersion into early Virginia history. Students were able to watch a glass blowing demonstration, try out grinding corn, visit the archaeological dig below, and see the replica of the ship Godspeed above as part of their tour. They explored the settlement and the waterfront, too, making for a great day seeing history come to life.
