Elementary GIVE Day
Doing a Great Deal of Good

It was a massive service effort on a frigid Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Over 60 GIVE Day ambassadors set up for hundreds of students and their families to pack 1600 Power Packs partnering with Food for Others. The Packs each provide a weekend's worth of meals and snacks for students in the region whose families need assistance. MD and TJ students also made dog and cat toys for an animal shelter; wrote thank you notes to people who helped with the GIVE Day efforts including teachers and custodial staff, office folks, security and cafeteria staff; and continued to fundraise with a giant bake sale for California wildfire recovery efforts. Thanks also go to the very generous sponsors: Clare and Don's, Dogwood Tavern, Focal Point Homes, Markon, Mill Creek and RCN.

He signed to pitch at Washington College, but at GM Jay also is active in the outfield when he is not on the mound.
TJ Roche right has signed to swim at the University of Delaware. He joined the Mustang Swim team in 9th grade and earned individual State championship titles for the 50 Free (21.56) and the 100 Free (47.65) last season. TJ was also part of two State titles in relays, winning the 200 Free in 2018 with a VHSL record, and winning the 200 Medley in 2016. He holds school records for the 200 Medley in 2018 and the 400 Free in 2016. Congrats guys! Finish strong.
