Flexibility at All Levels with Unexpected Flood

ME Henderson school logoWhen a pressurized pipe, part of the sprinkler system, burst at a joint shortly before 1:00 p.m. at Henderson yesterday, it led to an impromptu theater performance in the library. The water from the band storage room area quickly spread into the nearby chorus and art rooms and the cafeteria. Restoration work has already begun. A detailed email was sent to all MEHMS parents yesterday. The cafeteria will resume normal operations today.

Thomas Jefferson school logoA student in Mrs. Raines class at TJ had wished for a Taco Bell party for his eleventh birthday with his school friends. With the help of Mt. Daniel's special education team, it became possible. Mt. Daniel's team shared a gift card to Taco Bell to the delight of the class above, making this birthday extra special.
George Mason school logoOn Friday's teacher work day, Chris Pikrallidas back row, left purchased Starbucks coffee and pastries for all GMHS staff. He used his collection of gift cards, received from students over the years, to make the purchase and create a big spread at the school for staff to share. Sweet!
