Great progress made in Week One & Two

 

And a record Autumn turnout with 86 new runners!

Many people have been out doing their homework and it really shows. It's great to see the streets of Chippenham filled with runners and don't forget you can use the club forums and facebook group to find people to go out with.

Steve who looks after Group B with Belinda runs a Physical Prep session in the dome on a Monday night at 7.30pm. It's open to all and costs £1 for members and £2 for non-members of the club. Well worth a visit and it gets you homework done early week, win/win!

Don't worry: If you are reading this and didn't make it to Friday's session you will not be left behind as long as you get out in the week for a run/walk and try the session of the group you would have run with.

All the leaders and helpers look forward to seeing you back again for Week Three (and it's still not too late to join in). But before you stop reading just remember; No matter how far and how fast you ran on Friday you lapped everyone on the sofa!

Trust me, every leader and helper has a story to tell - make sure you ask next week.

 
Friday's Sessions

Try to run a couple of times in the week. Use the Facebook Group to find out who is going out when. Give the session above yours a try for a challenge. As the weeks get closer to the 5k run you'll thank yourself for getting out there.

What each group did on Friday:
Liz, Lucy & Nicky

After a couple of weeks this group is doing really well. The suggested homework for this week is; 1-1-2-3-2-1 with 2 minute walks in-between.
 
Steve & Belinda & Claire

1 1/2 - 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 - 4 - 3 - 2 Minute runs with a 2 Minute walk in-between.
Julie & Lindsey

The plan was 2-2-3 1/2-4-2 with a 1 1/2 minute walk in-between
 
Friday's Sessions
We hope you are enjoying the groups you are in but they are in no way fixed. If you feel you are ready you can try out the group above you next week. Likewise if you over did it in the week or feel you want a slower pace then try the group below to get back on track.
