Reducing the potential for lead exposure from household plumbing 

Did you know that your home plumbing could be adding lead to your drinking water? Test your water to find out. Free test kits are available at Leadline.org or 503-988-4000. We're also doing a few things to help. We're breaking ground this year on a new Improved Corrosion Control Facility to further reduce the potential of lead at the tap. And we have a variety of tools available, including brochures in multiple languages and a library of helpful information, where you can learn easy steps to reduce your exposure to lead in drinking water.

Water Bureau to sell select properties not being used

Maintaining Portland's water system requires owning and managing property around an extensive network of infrastructure. Sometimes the system's needs change and we no longer need certain infrastructure. When this happens and a property isn't being used, we work to find opportunities to release it, generating revenue for public benefit.
