City Council Meeting Scheduled
This week Portland City Council will vote on Ordinance 320 to authorize the City of Portland, on behalf of the Portland Water Bureau, to acquire necessary easements for the Improved Corrosion Control Project through negotiation or the exercise of the City’s eminent domain authority if an agreement cannot be reached. (Second Reading Agenda 296)

Ordinance 320 authorizes the Portland Water Bureau to expand its property rights in the Improved Corrosion Control project area to accommodate construction, facility access, and future maintenance of the project that is being constructed to minimize the corrosion of lead in household plumbing.
