Filtration Neighbor Update

Traffic Impacts January 27

Next Friday crews will be taking groundwater readings near the planned filtration facility site. There will be temporary lane closures and flaggers directing traffic along Cottrell Road, Altman Road, Lusted Road, and Dodge Park Boulevard. The field work will be limited to 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and work is anticipated to take an hour at each location.

Bull Run Filtration Neighbor Update Meeting

At the January meeting, community members heard a brief update on facility design progress for the Bull Run Filtration Project. About this project

The Bull Run Filtration Project will remove Cryptosporidium and other contaminants from the Bull Run water supply, producing cleaner, safer water for the one million people who use our water now and for future generations. The project is required by the federal Safe Drinking Water Act and must be completed by September 30, 2027, through a bilateral compliance agreement with the Oregon Health Authority.
