Portland voters approve two water measures in November election

Portland voters were clear this month: they love Portland's water and want to see its watershed protected for future generations. These two measures will further strengthen Bull Run protections and allow us to help other communities during an emergency. The Bull Run Watershed has been managed by increasing levels of protection since it was established as a Forest Reserve in 1892. After the November 5th passage of Ballot Measure 26-204, current protections will be enshrined in the City Charter.
