City Council Meeting Scheduled
This week, the Portland Water Bureau and the Office of Management and Finance will ask City Council to approve an ordinance to authorize the Bull Run Filtration pipeline design services contract. The other ordinance will authorize the Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC) procurement method for the pipelines project.

The pipeline design contract has a total not-to-exceed amount of $29 million with 20.93 percent committed to firms certified by the Oregon Certification Office for Business Inclusion and Diversity (COBID). The CM/GC contract will include a Community Benefits Agreement that commits 22 percent of an estimated 162.9 million contract to COBID-certified firms, along with specific labor hour commitments to minorities and women.
