Important message from the Chair, ARSC2015 Scientific Program Committee, Dr Ioni Lewis:
On behalf of the Scientific Program Committee of the Australasian Road Safety Conference I am pleased to announce a new option available for accepted authors and presenters - submission of an extended abstract for peer-review.
Recognising the desire that many academic researchers and practitioners are not in a position to submit a full length conference paper for publication, the Scientific Program Committee are enabling authors who have their initial abstract submission accepted the opportunity to subsequently provide a 2-4 page extended abstract in place of the requirement for a full paper. This extended abstract would also be submitted to a process of peer-review and, if accepted, provide information for inclusion in the Conference proceedings.
To nominate under this option, enter your abstract as normal on the abstract submission system and then at the next stage when a full paper is required, simply select 'Extended Abstract' as the article type for submission.
Given this change to the conference options, the call for abstracts period has been extended until Wednesday 6 May 2015.
To submit your abstract for consideration by the Scientific Program Committee, please visit the conference website.
Should you have any questions relating to either the extended abstract option, or the extended deadline, please contact the ACRS National Office on acrs2015@acrs.org.au on phone +61 2 6250 2509.
I look forward to you joining us on the Gold Coast for what promises to be an engaging and informative conference.
Kind regards,

Dr Ioni Lewis
