Exploring Dimensions of Diversity!

Learning to see the many "dimensions of diversity" can help us understand the richness of identities that all people hold. Fixed, internal dimensions that are largely unchangeable like age, mental/physical ability, gender, race, or sexual orientation are most central. Other dimensions then work out from there through secondary identities (like religion or education), organizational (like role at work or leadership roles), and cultural dimensions (like ideas of personal space, time management, or conflict resolution). The figure below can help us understand where we fit, and where our peers fit among these many dimensions!
