Hand Painted, Tie Dyed, Handmade and Gorgeous

Stop by Hearts Desire to see what's new and exciting on the fashion scene for 2016. Animal prints are still big and so are tie dyed fashions. The hand painted tunic and the funky tie dyed jacket below are great examples of current trends. The tribal style jacket in the lower left photo is a hand made and hand beaded jacket by Cherie Ketchum of Bradenton. The gorgeous suit on the right is from Zoé, a small Canadian design company.

Upcoming Events for Hearts Desire

Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016 – First Annual Loving Yourself Health and Beauty Extravaganza at Van Wezel Performing Arts center to celebrate loving relationships and support the mission and vision of Big Brothers Big Sisters. Hearts Desire will have a pop-up boutique to help BBBS with an exciting new event.

Sunday, Feb. 7, 2016 – The Great Wall of China Challenge – My friend, Jane Snoxell, has undertaken a fundraising challenge in memory of her niece who passed away last year from cancer. She will walk the Great Wall and make a contribution to the cancer hospital that treated her niece. Hearts Desire will do a pop-up boutique at her home in University Park and a portion of sales will help Jane reach her goal. Here are Jane's notes about the challenge

My beautiful niece Emma would have been 40 this week had she not died of breast cancer 3 years ago. She was an amazing young lady: kind, gentle, very stylish and determined to live life to the full as long as she was able, traveling and experiencing as much of the world as her time allowed. She was truly an inspiration; so in honor of her memory, and to support my sister (Emma's mother) I have decided to take up the above challenge to raise money for a charity called the Weldmar Trust.
The Welmar Trust is an amazing organization who cared for Emma towards the end of her life, enabling her to spend her last days with her family (and pets) around her, and ensuring she died peacefully and without pain - such a blessing. The care the trust provides is all completely free of charge, and 75% of the funds needed have to be raised themselves through challenges like this one.
The fund raising target is $4500, quite a daunting prospect, so if anyone has any fund raising ideas please let me know!
If you would like to donate go to my justgiving page: www.justgiving.com/janesnoxell

Or plan on coming to the pop-up boutique and support Jane. Details to follow! Call 302-1069 to RSVP.
