A New Look for Hearts Desire Jewelry!
New fun beads on the market for chewing babies! My daughter loves my jewelry and has a wardrobe full of necklaces. But she recently asked me to design a colorful, fun piece for her in a new line of food-safe silicone that is perfect for her little guy who is putting everything in his mouth and vigorously chewing. It matched a lovely long dress of hot pink, turquoise and white paisley on a black background. I wish I could include the noise he was making when I took these photos!

These are great baby shower gifts and Hearts Desire will be producing more of these fun and functional designs! Call me if you are interested in one for someone special!
Hearts Desire Fashions Perfect for Your Travel Plans!
Recently, friend and Hearts Desire model and music diva, Rebecca Bird traveled and had several singing gigs in Italy. Fortunately she and her guy, musician Steve Arvey, escaped the tragic earthquake. But she packed her suitcase with a veritable wardrobe of fashions from Hearts Desire. These lovely pants, tops and dresses are great for travel because they never wrinkle. You always look comfortable and fresh! You look like you are having a wonderful time, Rebecca!
My Daughter Hits the Big Time!
I remember a conversation with my older daughter Channing about two years ago (prior to pregnancy and childbirth) and she related how she had been asked to do a yoga-related photoshoot for a company in Chicago. She said she made about $100 and that seemed to be the end of it. But last week a friend out in Colorado excitedly texted her that she was shopping for a yoga mat in a local WalMart and there was Channing on the product box and the hang tag for a headband! Too bad about the glare on the shiny box--I may have to go and buy one! Anybody want a yoga mat? I just want the box!
Fashion Trends for Winter and Spring
Recently attended the Trends Show in West Palm Beach to shop for winter and spring. I saw lots of exciting fashions and lots of "when are we going to get some relief from this" fashion styles. The ones that wear me out are the Lily Pulitzer knock-offs – you know, those little dresses with brightly colored repeated beach, summer and paisley graphics in lime, pink, turquoise, etc.  They all look the same and it seemed that there were twenty or more clothing lines featuring this style. That drives me crazy!

But look for fringe, paisley, fabric montage designs, long dresses, appliques, tie dyed, red/black/grey, etc. Two fashions that will be showing up at Hearts Desire are shown below. They are from one of my favorite design houses, Adore of Los Angeles. The poncho on the left is a handpainted style. The Marakesh print dress on the right is a washable suede fabric. It feels and looks fantastic!

Peridia Country Club Hosts Hearts Desire
A wonderful time was had by all at the Peridia Country Club Royal Ascot High Tea featuring a Hearts Desire Accessory Fashion Show recently. A few of the lovely models are featured here wearing a handpainted sweater from Adore, a butterfly design by Cherie Ketchum of Bradenton, a silk cover from Cocoon House and a Vogue top featuring Marilyn from Omdaya of Miami. All the jewelry is designed by Vicki Rollo (that's me!), owner of Hearts Desire. Also included in the agenda for the day was a Hearts Desire pop-up boutique, which donated a portion of sales to the Humane Society of Manatee Country, the non-profit designated as the beneficiary of the event.

Hearts Desire is committed to helping country clubs, women's organizations and nonprofits in the area by providing fashion show entertainment and donating a portion of sales from its pop-up boutiques to help with fundraising efforts.
