Hello Friends,

I have been traveling for the past month and visited many amazing urban and rural parks all over the East Coast - but none are quite like Freeway Park. Stepping back into the park after some time away definitely renewed my love for its unique architecture, shady nooks and rustling leaves - that feel particularly good on a hot day. I am grateful for our incredible team - Jessie, Shane and Nate - who kept programs working smoothly with open arms to our community. Come by and visit us soon! August will be packed with good times :)

Our partnership with FareStart has allowed us to connect with our neighbors who may not have access to needed resources. Learn more about what they do here.

We also work with REACH Outreach Care Coordinators. Their team is able to offer monthly tabling at the Park, though they are regularly in the Park and surrounding neighborhoods to connect with & provide resources to those who may be houseless or in need of social services. They will be in Seneca Plaza on August 29th from 10:30am-Noon. Learn more about what they do here.
