Ladies of Laughter Event

Please join the Ramapo College Foundation and the Berrie Center for Performing and Visual Arts for a special evening of networking and comedy, on Saturday, April 26, 2014. Begin the evening at a private wine and hors d'oeuvres reception in the Berrie Center from 6 - 7:30 p.m. Special guest Peggy Boyce, Executive Producer of the National Ladies of Laughter Funny and Fabulous Tour, will give us an inside scoop about the world of comedy. Alumni Spotlight
An American magician performs in North Korea. While there he hosts an “International Gathering” for fellow entertainers—during the time of “the great leader,” Kim Il Sung—impossible. This is the story of Ramapo College’s very own, Hal Meyers ’80 (Theatre). Click here to read more about Hal's experience.

Greek Life 25th Anniversary Barbecue

The Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life would like to invite all Ramapo College of New Jersey Greeks back to campus for an Alumni Barbeque to celebrate Greek Life's 25th year anniversary. The event will take place on April 13 at 4 p.m. at Laurel Courts on the Ramapo College campus. Cost is $25 per person and is due by Monday, March 31. To RSVP and make payment, please email the Office of Student Life. All checks should be addressed to Ramapo College of New Jersey with a memo of "Greek Life Reunion." Performing Arts Dinner Series

American musician, Ray Charles, was a pioneer in the genre of soul music during the 1950s by fusing rhythm and blues, gospel, jazz and blues together. He also helped racially integrate country and pop music during the 1960s with his crossover success.The Berrie Center offers exceptional seating, affordable ticket prices, a wonderful dining experience...and a special time with friends. The Open Door Series

The Open Door Series announces it's final concert this semester. As always, the concert is free and open to the public, located in the beautiful 19th-century York Room at the Birch Mansion on campus beginning at 7 p.m. For more information please contact Professor Itay Goren.

Italian Language Film Series Events

In conjunction with the Italian Cinema course, films are shown at 6:30 p.m. in ASB-136 on the Ramapo Campus. Admission is free and open to the general public.

Ramapo Chorale presents HORIZONS

Join the Chorale, Skylark, CantaNOVA and Take12 – together with Brazilian Percussion and Ramapo Chamber Ensemble – on April 27 at 4 p.m. for an exciting concert featuring music of Haiti, Jamaica and South Africa.  Musical tributes to Nelson Mandela and Martin Luther King are highlights. A portion of the profits will benefit the Ramapo College Haiti Scholarship Fund.  Tickets at Berrie Center box office: $15 adults and $5, or at the door:  Temple Beth Haverim Shir Shalom, 280 Ramapo Valley Road, Mahwah. Networking in the Mental Health Field

Ramapo College of New Jersey, in partnership with the New Jersey Health Care Talent Network, presents Career Opportunities in the Mental Health Field on April 9 from 5:30–7 p.m. in the Student Center, room 138.  Join us for an informative networking opportunity and the chance to learn more about academic courses and degrees in the mental health field, including social work, nursing, and substance abuse (minor).
