During the last Congress EPSA has awarded the National IMP Coordinator (NIMP), Liaison Secretary (LS) and Member of the year.

EPSA is nothing without Members and after deep analysis, ŠSSFD,  Slovenia was awarded Member of the Year for the third year in a row for bringing EPSA closer to their students and for being actively engaged in EPSA activities throughout the last year.

The Liaison Secretary is the person responsible to be the bridge between EPSA and their local/national association. Without LSs we couldn't guarantee that EPSA voice and EPSA activities are being well promoted and informed to every European pharmaceutical student. Also, the LS makes sure that your voice is heard on this amazing platform that EPSA is. After voting, LSs agreed that Sid Ahmed Ameziane, LS for ANEPF, France should be awarded the LS of the Year.

The National IMP Coordinator is the person responsible to promote IMP and national/local level, help their students applying to IMP Placements as to actively seek for IMP Placements. After voting, NIMPs agree that Era Gruda, NIMP for NoPSA, Norway should be awarded the NIMP of the Year.

Thank you for all your hard work, EPSA is really thankful for your time invested and love for this Association!

41st EPSA Annual Congress, Baarlo, the Netherlands

Between 23rd and 29th of April more than 350 pharmaceutical students from all over Europe were brought together at the 41st EPSA Annual Congress, taking place in Baarlo, the Netherlands.
Under the topic “Pharmacoeconomics & Affordability of Healthcare” a two-day symposium was organised, followed by a selection of various topic-related workshops.

Participants were also able to learn how to properly ride a bicycle and, since we were in the Netherlands, had the opportunity to borrow bikes and cycle around the beautiful countryside.
Our EPSA Trainers deliver several soft skills trainings, aiming towards students’ personal development. Elections for the EPSA Team 2018/2019 took place as well and we are happy to say that the Team is almost complete!

After each day of Educational programme some relaxation was needed and the Reception Committee took care of that with theme parties, International and Dutch night and fabulous Gala as a cherry on the top of the amazing week we had!

The 41st EPSA Annual Congress happened at the same time as the World Immunization Week.

In the Netherlands, we talked about Herd Immunity as a way to reinforce the importance of immunization.

Besides a lot of workshops on the topic, participants of the public health campaign were able to interact with high school students and teach them a bit more about this topic. They were also in the streets of Venlo making questions and handing leaflets to raise awareness on such important action.

Events are one of the most important pillars of EPSA, we can meet in person with students and professional from different countries and cultures! And to keep the legacy going on we have all the events for the 2019 already covered!

We are proud to announce that BPhSA, Bulgaria is going to welcome us in their capital, Sofia, for the 42nd EPSA Annual Congress. Then in July prepare to be amazed by ŠSSFD, Slovenia and Slovenian seaside as the 21st EPSA Summer University will take place in Portorož! To round up the 2k19 EPSA Balkan trip, CPSA, Croatia is taking us to Poreč for the 16th EPSA Autumn Assembly!
