We're Back in the Sanctuary!
This Sunday

Welcome back to in-person worship! Adhering to the safe re-entry policy: contact tracing, masking, socially distancing at a reduced capacity, and unfortunately still no singing for the time being. We will always broadcast worship via Facebook Live! Join us either way and welcome back!

Worship Sunday @ 10am
We're back to worshipping in person and broadcasting Sundays at 10am via Facebook Live or recorded posting both on Facebook and our website. If you'd like to support flowers in our worship email the office or call 908.832.2154 for details. See more about flowers below. Scriptures this week: Psalm 1; Acts 1:15-17, 21-26; John 17:6-19. Sermon: The Baton.

Wednesdays at 8am at Oscar's Deli in Califon. Good coffee, good company, and current events. Come have breakfast, solve the world's problems, and eventually we get around to talking Bible. Everybody invited!

Mission - Haytown Pantry

Pass this along to your networks! The Haytown Nursery School Community Pantry is now open at the Community House. How awesome is this? Bring food items as you can—anytime day or night. Leave what you have—take what you need. Jesus says "I am the bread of life, whoever comes to me will never be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty." Download the flyer for more...

FPC Mission Coordinator?

Fairmount is looking for our new Mission Coordinator/Mission Chair! Is it you? You don't have to be a session member or the "doer" of all missions. We simply need someone to coordinate and help promote our mission projects like soup collections, or promoting cooperative projects with other area churches like the Appalachian Service Project. This volunteer job really isn't hard and the rewards are huge! Contact any session member or Scott for more details.

Haiku by Cheryl

Cheryl writes Haiku poetry every week based on Sunday's worship and the Monday night Bible Talk. This week:

On Acts 10:44-48
Holy Spirit gift
Fell on all as Peter spoke
Baptized all in Christ

On 1 John 5:1-6
Obey and love God
Have faith and believe in Christ
Conquer with the truth

On John 15:9-17
We know God through Christ
He chose us to go bear fruit
Love community

On BFF sermon
Church beyond its walls
Beyond its property lines
Who will we reach touch

Bless you, Cheryl! Do you write poetry, prose, or reflections? Submit your offerings to the Focus at this mailbox

*Eid Mubarak!
Welcome to end of the high Holy Month of Ramadan. I’ll never forget my first Ramadan Iftar. I was invited to the breaking of the fast with a friend from college and his Muslim community at Oklahoma State back in the day. So much fun! And great food! Good times!
