Haytown Food Pantry

The Haytown Nursery School Community Pantry is now open at the Community House. How awesome is this? Bring food items as you can—anytime day or night. Leave what you have—take what you need. Jesus says "I am the bread of life, whoever comes to me will never be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty." Let it be so...

Flowers in Worship! Yes you can!

You can help brighten our virtual Sunday worship service! Please donate flowers for the third Sunday of each month. Email the church at: fpcoffice@gmail.com  or call 908-832-2154 and choose your date. The flowers will be delivered to a church family by a Deacon unless otherwise requested. Flowers are ordered from Stony Hill Gardens and the cost is $37.50 payable to Fairmount Presbyterian Church. Please note—flowers are ordered once a month. Requests are due by the first of each month.

FPC Mission Coordinator?

Fairmount is looking for our new Mission Coordinator/Mission Chair! Is it you? You don't have to be a session member or the "doer" of all missions. We simply need someone to coordinate and help promote our mission projects like soup collections, or promoting cooperative projects with other area churches like the Appalachian Service Project. This volunteer job really isn't hard and the rewards are huge! Contact any session member or Scott for more details.

Mission - Bring soup Sat. Apr. 17!

The Ecumenical Mission Group thanks you for your support of the soup drive this winter. The next and last soup collection is Saturday April 17 from 10-12 at the Community House. Bring your best homemade soup cooled to a temp suitable for plastic container distribution. Be sure to know your ingredients to alert for food allergies so we can get your soup safely to those in need. Thank you for cooking! Grab the flyer for more details.

Haiku by Cheryl

Cheryl writes Haiku poetry every week based on Sunday's worship and the Monday night Bible Talk. This week:

On Isaiah 25:6-9
Trust have faith in God
Be glad in his salvation
He'll swallow up death

On Mark 16:1-8
Trembling bewildered
Crucified Jesus missing
Risen as foretold

On And Day Breaks sermon

Bask in light of God
Share love and community
Reflect it to all

End AND beginning
Allelujah Christ is here
Forever has been
