Ray of Hope Prize for Biomimetic Design to Debut at Bioneers 2016

Biomimicry is a big theme for this year’s conference, and we’re especially honored to partner with the Biomimicry Institute and Ray C. Anderson Foundation to award the inaugural $100,000 Ray of Hope Prize for the Biomimicry Global Design Challenge, which this year focuses on biomimetic food systems. Audio Highlight: An Oil Spill Runs Through It

In January 1969, Santa Barbara, California’s sparkling beaches were covered with toxic black sludge when drilling by Union Oil caused a massive oil spill.
