Hello Table Tennis Enthusiasts,
LATTA THANH BANH MEMORIAL OPEN TOURNAMENT (SATURDAY, JAN. 26, 2019) IS ON TRACK TO HIT 100+ PLAYERS!!!  WHAT AN AMAZING TURNOUT!!! Such an appropriate time to make a BANG, BANG at my Dad’s Memorial Tournament! Or shall I say, BANH, BANH!?! :) Anyhow, WE ARE FULL & are no longer accepting entries for U1150RR & U1375RR!  There are even a few people on the waiting list!  The rest of the other events only have a few spots remaining so if you want to register, please do so ASAP!  I respectfully ask that if something comes up and you need to withdraw, please do so 1 day before tournament.  Feel free to give us a courtesy call or text so I can remove you before the actual draw is made.
Due to the BIG turnout, in addition to awarding cash prizes and 2 foot tall marble trophies, I will:  1) increase the prize $$ in some of the events, 2) award additional prize $$ to Semifinalists in higher events & 3) award extra trophies to both Semifinalists in events U1150 to U1875!  Because of this BIG turnout, I do respectfully request for all Player’s patience as the tournament will progress longer and may run into some schedule delays (many players are registered in a few events)!  One thing I know for sure is that this Tournament will feature countless exciting & close battles among all ages!  We will have about 30 youth players competing!
Lastly, thank you so much for the continued support of LATTA!  We have existed since 1999 as a full-time club, promoting table tennis in our community!  Other clubs have followed our footsteps throughout the years and some even opened within proximity to LATTA.  However, LATTA is resilient and continues to grow annually!  Bring it on!  It’s great that we have so more Ambassadors to our sport!
BIG APPLAUSE to Mr. Daniel Chan for his donation!
