Happy Valentine's Day , Students and Colleagues and Friends!
I thought the above photo says it all for this Valentine's Day, at least on the East Coast here in the USA! Hopefully you all have somewhere cozy to celebrate with a loved one and your roses were delivered safely ( those poor florists)! And if you're like me, I am just fine this year to have all of you , my family and beloved "Gypsy" and "Prince to Be" as my Valentines!
January was a busy time for me and Rubylee Productions!
We presented our show (abridged version) at The National Arts Club in NYC. We overcame weather issues, sick performers and even a gas leak/water outage/no heat at our rehearsal space. As usual our actors and crew were troupers and the show must and did go on!!
We hope you'll support us in our journey to Broadway! Please contact Kimilee or Ben at Rubylee Productions for inquiries on our next steps and how you can be a part of it. Our plan is to workshop the piece and take it Off -Broadway or a regional theatre this year. We are actively fundraising for the workshop first and then looking for investors for the Production!

February : SNOW SNOW Everywhere!
But we had a wonderful memorial last Saturday for the legendary Herman Rottenberg "HR" as most of us called him. At International House in Davis Hall, NYC . There was was plenty of music, dance and other wonderful tributes to HR celebrating is 97 and half years on this planet. His contributions go on as many of us were inspired by him and his work!
A Few of HR's "Angels" Sopranos Evelyn Thatcher, Kimilee and Laurelyn Watson Chase sang at the event at Davis Hall.
