A day full of blessings, fun and treats for our dogs!
Every year Kukur Tihar or Dog Puja is celebrated at our Chobar shelter with a big bang. This year AN opted for a unique approach. As usual animal lovers were invited to worship the rescued dogs and donkeys. But they were also invited to a workshop in which volunteers Amber and Brett demonstrated how to make pet toys from recycled materials for our pooches . Learn more about the event here.

As the weather is getting colder, Animal Nepal asked its well wishers to donate old blankets and to donate towards wooden doors to insulate the twelve dog kennels. AN is overwhelmed by the positive responses! Nima Ghale and Jigme Gurung donated four blankets to shelter manager Shankar Sapkota. Two more came from a Pharping Monastry. We are still working hard to raise 300 euro / NRs 34.500 for the ply kennel doors. Click here to learn more about the campaign. |
