Dear IWS Community,

The IWS COVID-19 Response Team has been working diligently to process available data concerning the pandemic and assess options available for the January 2022 intensive session.  The Board of Trustees, with the support of the Faculty, has approved a plan recommended by the Response Team for the coming term.

IWS will hold all nine courses (MWS 501–504 and DWS 701–801) on its campus January 5-12, 2022, under protocols necessary to emphasize student and staff safety. Students unable to attend due to personal or political exigencies will be able to petition to take their class via mixed modality format.

The January 2022 session will mark a return to a fully-synchronous format according to the established IWS daily schedule. Protocols for the on-campus session will be announced closer to the session so they can better reflect the global reality for January. Information about the online petition process for students unable to attend in person will be released in the coming weeks. Our COVID-19 Response Page will be continually updated as details are settled.

We greatly appreciate your support and your prayers as the Board and staff of IWS continue to navigate a path through this pandemic. Know that we are praying for you all as well.

The Lord be with you,
