Invest In Our Planet & What's On
INVEST IN OUR PLANET

Earth Day is on Friday, April 22, 2022, and this year’s theme is “Invest in Our Planet.” Government, NGOs, and private citizens are already behind it!

In partnership for the planet, the Environmental Awareness Group (EAG) with Adopt A Coastline, Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Barbuda Affairs, and more continue their sustainable practices. Keyonna Beach, Cocos, Trade Winds, and Catamaran are Certified Green Hotels and Resorts

You too can play an active role by using more Earth-friendly products, planting a tree, and taking part in official Earth Day activities, which range from beach clean-ups to removals of invasive species.

TOGETHER... let's keep Antigua and Barbuda (and beyond) Nice!

ANTIGUA & BARBUDA:
The Government of Antigua and Barbuda has updated its Travel Advisory. All persons entering Antigua and Barbuda, commencing Wednesday, April 13, 2022, subject to any evidence regarding any new variant, shall be allowed to enter without vaccination. However, all those persons who are unvaccinated are required to submit to a PCR Test, no more than four days old, before boarding their flight to Antigua.

Testing:  Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre advised to commence the application for testing at least 7 days prior to departure date to facilitate an appointment for swabbing. More testing options can be found here.

UK: All testing requirements have been removed for eligible fully vaccinated arrivals. All other travelers will need to take a pre-departure test and book a PCR test prior to departure to be taken by the second day after the date of their arrival in the UK. Read the latest advisory here

USA: Before boarding a flight to the United States you will need proof of vaccination and a negative COVID-19 test result taken no more than 1 day before travel. Children under 2 years old do not need to test. More Travel Advisory details can be found here.
