Humans are relational beings. We are social animals, born of mother and father, raised with families and friends. We work and live with others. It is no surprise that much of our suffering is people-suffering. We meditate to understand and be free from suffering.

Insight Dialogue brings the mindfulness and tranquility of traditional silent meditation practice into our interactions with others. It offers the ability to observe in real time how we communicate through our self-constructs and our constructed sense of the other. Meditating together, we serve as each other’s reminder to awaken to the mind’s constructing nature and its great potential for awareness and freedom.

On this day we will combine silent meditation and Insight Dialogue practice in which we speak and listen with one another. We will deeply inquire together into the forces that constrict our hearts and minds keeping us from resting in the natural kindness, compassion, and care that arises when the mind is at peace.

No meditation experience required!

  • Please do not wear products with scent.
  • Please bring food that you want to sustain you throughout the training. Tea and water available throughout the day. Some snacks provided.
