Welcome back old and new friend/fans.
Last month was packed with travel, fellowship with family and friends, and a field trip. In Houston, it was a family affair as my son, husband, mother-in-law, and I spent Easter with our daughter. When we returned home, Kerry and I attended our first painting party. We also took a break to visit our renowned St. Louis Art Museum to see Sunken Cities: Egypt's Lost Worlds exhibit. We're the first city in North America to see the hidden treasures. I'm posing with one of three 16 foot statutes of a pharaoh, a queen, and a man-made god. Evidently, royalty had some type of protocol to stand with their left foot forward.
As many of you know, my husband and I travel a lot for book events in other cities. Last week was my first local St. Louis signing in a few years. Readers made me feel like a rock star with their presence. I felt the love of my high school friends, church members, and readers.
I'm heading to Reno next week for the annual RT Booklovers Convention. If you have friends within driving distance, ask them to come out to the book signing.
Enjoy the photos, my book recommendations, and my Mother's Day special.
One of many 5 STAR reviews...this one from Kenya

Let me first say that I am an employee of the local Alzheimer’s Association and I was excited to see that we were mentioned as a source of help and assistance for even fictional characters.
Ms. Simmons pulled out all type of emotions with this story. I cried, I got angry, I laughed and I rejoiced. The attention spent on the very minute details of the life of a person suffering from Alzheimer’s and their caregiver makes the story very realistic - you will feel like you are there with the characters and not just reading a story. Excited to see how the next sister handles being a caregiver and who will she find love with. Looking forward to seeing how Christ becomes a part of her life.
Aunt Tweet is Cupid in disguise. This is an excellent book that handles the real-life situations with truth and spiritual love.
