Welcome new and old friends to my October newsletter
September was made for creating memories. Check out my photos.
Welcome to fall and some exciting new releases!
Last month, I was crazy busy with activities. As an author, I enjoy getting out of my writing cave to mingle with the masses--as they say. There is nothing like family, friends, and church folks.
My mom's birthday always kicks off the month of September. Family and friends met at my house for a barbecue and to be treated to my rendition of Happy Birthday in acapella--off key, of course. Everyone signed her card, I added cash for her 84 years, plus some Monopoly money. That was a hoot.
A few weeks later, more than 100 members from my church spent the evening with our pastor, watching the stage play "Crowns." The singing and history of hats in the black churches was inspiring and entertaining. A must-see if it comes to your city.
The surprise event was CBS selecting our church to watch a pre-screening of the new show "God Friended Me." If you haven't seen it on Sundays after 60 Minutes, please watch it. Our support shows there is a demand for clean programming on TV. I closed out September with an interesting author event, courtesy of my good friend and fellow author, LaShaunda Hoffman. The St. Louis Public Library sponsored "Breakfast with the Author." It was a speed-dating with book club members. Ten authors changed tables 10 times to introduce ourselves to reader.s I was honored to be invited and I had a great time. My last scheduled author event is next week in Myrtle Beach. This will be a big reunion of readers and Christian authors. I can't wait. ***Now, drum roll please*** I'm dancing in the street to announce The Guilty Generation--finally. Get it at the special price of $2.99, but only for 24 hours. After that, it returns to the regular price of $4.99. Download today!
New October Releases!
The stage is set for the guilty parties, and Kami Jamieson is in the spotlight... or hot seat. With many generations gathered in one place, there are bound to be some surprises. Before the night is over, the elders will become the students, eager to learn about the challenges the thirteenth generation of a royal African tribe face. It s going to take more than a board game or family lore to survive temptations. It's a spiritual warfare that can only be won through fasting and prayer. Welcome to the Jamieson family game night. The show is about to begin.
Sorry, the UK ebook link wasn't available at the time this newsletter was sent. Check Amazon.co.uk for availability.
This is my second favorite book. Download the re-release of the Christian romance. Trust me, this is an unpredictable love story.
Lately, nothing in Garrett Nash's life has made sense. When two people close to the U.S. Marshal wrong him deeply, he expects God to remove them from his life. Not so. Surrendering to the Lord’s will, Garrett is the one who relocates to another city to start over, as if he were the offender instead of the victim.
Criminal attorney Shari Carmen is comfortable in her own skin, most of the time. Being a dark and beautiful African-American sister has its challenges, especially when it comes to relationships.
As God draws them closer together, He makes another request of Garrett, one to which it will prove far more difficult to say "Yes, Lord."
Are you craving a holiday story? Check out this Christmas tale from one of my Sweet Romance Reads fellow authors.
Melissa and her son need a new start. Jim wants a second chance. The past can ruin their future...or make it special.
This is a story about second chances: facing difficulties of the past and not only moving on, but becoming stronger because of them. It’s also a story about “coincidences” in life that may be more than that.
I couldn't find a video to share, so I hope this thought brings you inspiration.
That's it from me. I appreciate your support!

As always, thank you for spending a few minutes of your time catching up with me. Until next month, my prayer is that the Lord shine His face upon you, your loved ones, and give you peace in the midst of the worldly storms. Read, relax, and always post your reviews.
