Thank you very much for another fun packed term of swimming lessons! It has been an incredibly busy time for everyone and have no idea where the time has gone! We hope you have enjoyed it as much as we have.
If you haven’t already RSVP’d to the Swim School Christmas Party, contact Megan at email@example.com as soon as possible. There will be an inflatable, games, hydroslide and much more! The party is free for swim school customers and their parents. +1’s are welcome and will just be charged at normal entry on the day – let us know when you RSVP how many +1’s are coming so that we can make suitable arrangements for lifeguards and games.
Term 1 Bookings and Holiday Programme
Bookings for Term 1 will open on Monday 10th December 2018 and term 1 begins week beginning Monday 28 January 2019. We understand there is a relatively big gap between now and the start of Term 1 but ensure you book in early enough to secure the best class, time and instructor that you would like.
Timetables have been released and we do our best to keep them the same, however there are some circumstances which mean we may have to change some instructors. We will do our best to give you as much notice as possible.
All payments for Term 4 should have been received. If you have not paid your fees yet, you will not be able to enrol for any holiday programmes or for term 1 lessons until the account has been cleared. Please have a chat with one of our reception team to finalise your payments.
A general reminder that all swim school fees need to be paid on or before the first lesson of Term 1. Lessons that are unpaid by the second week of term may result in your swimmer not being able to swim and ultimately being withdrawn from lessons.
Reports will be handed out in the final week of term. Please take this time to have a chat with the instructor if you have any questions about your swimmers progress. Any reports not collected will be kept behind reception during the holidays – see one of our friendly reception team to pick up your report.
Please note, we do not send reports out.
Following some feedback from customers, we have introduced a new system to reduce the time it takes instructors to assess the level of the swimmers.
Should your child change instructor during the term, the new instructor will be able to see what skills have been learnt and what is left to learn. Each swimmer has a criteria sheet that their current instructor will keep updated. This sheet will then go to the new instructor should the instructor change for the next term.
The idea behind this is to reduce the amount of time instructors take to assess children and be able to spend more time working on those essential skills to help progress your swimmers on.
