This session will provide an opportunity to share your queries and experience of using Facebook and Twitter. Jennifer Lindsay Finan and Alison Powrie, frequent Facebook and Twitter users, will be on hand to share their knowledge and experience, show you how to join the GrowBiz Facebook support group, and give you a live demonstration and opportunity to practice using Twitter by joining in with Wednesday’s ‘Perthshire Hour’.

ENTERPRISING RURAL PERTHSHIRE
A big thank you to all the businesses and social enterprises who supported us in the recent LEADER application for a Perthshire-wide rural enterprise service. We’re delighted to report that the project bid was successful, and in collaboration with a number of other organisations including Elevator, PKAVS and Perthshire Chamber of Commerce, GrowBiz will be providing enterprise support across rural Perthshire from October. SCOTTISH RURAL PARLIAMENT

GrowBiz will be attending the Scottish Rural Parliament in October. The Scottish Rural Parliament 2016 brings together 400 people from across rural Scotland to discuss the issues of greatest importance to rural communities.
They will be agreeing a Manifesto for rural Scotland and deciding what actions need to be taken and by who, to ensure our rural communities are empowered, connected and sustainable.
