Steve and Andrea were in their 50s with two grown up birth children who had left home for university.
“We were moved by how many vulnerable children needed families to care for them. We heard Home for Good’s message that it only needs one new family per church to step forward to foster or adopt to solve the crisis in the care system. We looked at our church, looked at each other, and realised that was us.
“We became foster carers 4 years ago and have since cared for precious children from 0-17. It’s both the hardest and the best thing we’ve ever done. Steve’s retirement this year means that we can devote even more time and care to these children.”
