FOCUS on March

What a joy to be back speaking to live audiences again!

While Peg did “Nana Duty” for our son, Adam and wife, Cher,  while they were  gone, I drove 7 1/2 hours to Ness City, Kansas for a multi-church, city wide revival weekend, an inter-denominational men’s breakfast, and an FCA meeting in the high school gym. Was blown away by the attendance at the Friday morning (7am) high school FCA event, as 40% of the high school attends regularly! The students were very respectful and receptive, as I challenged them on WHO they play for, and how we can bring God glory in ALL we do, win or lose! (Col 3:23)

The men’s breakfast was another big success, with 30-40 men showing up, as I challenged them with the importance of pursuing “3rd Place” in life. (God first, others second, and ourselves 3rd, from Matt 22:37-39)

The 4 revival services were Friday night through Sunday night, and grew bigger in attendance for every session.  Saturday evening was our strong evangelistic emphasis, and God moved in hearts, with 10-12 salvation decisions, and many more recommitments. The last 2 services on Sunday, were focused on living out the Christian life, and how we finish strong, all the way to the end.

Another unexpected blessing from God, was when our Alma Mater, Grand Canyon University qualified for the NCAA tournament for the first time since turning Div 1, a few years back. All of a sudden, I’m getting calls from Arizona Republic for an interview, and radio interviews from GCU’s radio broadcaster, where I had wonderful opportunities to share my faith in Christ openly in both the paper and radio interviews, especially on radio! The links for both of these are listed below, for anyone who would be interested in checking them out.

Next week, Peg and I will drive to Tucson, AZ where I will be speaking 4 times at a weekend men’s retreat held at the El Conquistador Resort. 2 weeks later, we will fly to Ft Wayne, IN where I’ll be preaching 3 services (Sat evening and Sun morning) at Pathway Community Church, that runs 3-5 thousand in attendance. The next weekend, Peg and I will both be doing ministry at Browns Wesleyan Church outside of Indy. We will split men and women on Sat am for a couple of hours of teaching, then we will tag team Sun am for a combined Sunday School event, and then I’ll finish up preaching the morning service.

In between Tucson and Ft. Wayne, Peg will be doing a women's ministry event in Dulce, NM on the Jicarilla Apache Rez for women from several churches on Saturday before Easter. She continues to be excited to get to know the ladies in the community that is so close to us.

Thanks to ALL of you for continuing to “send us out” with your prayers and financial support, that allows us to go ANYWHERE God opens doors. We are actually filling up our 2021 schedule nicely, with our only openings being in June, and a few weeks this fall. In between our speaking events, we will be hosting 4-5 day pastors/wives “getaways” here in Pagosa for those just needing some encouragement and recovery time. We love being able to provide this kind of blessing to these servants of God!
Bay spoke each evening and twice on Sunday in a city-wide "revival series" for the Ness City Ministerial Alliance. Always great to see the churches in a community working together. He also met Kansas State Representative, Tatum Hahn, and had the privilege of praying over her, knowing the battlefield she faces daily...
Bay also spoke in several classrooms, sharing some of his stories with the kids (who are always enthralled by the "giant" in their midst....and, look at the handsome recruits for the book table (Peg usually takes care of giving out the books, but she's not sure she can compete with these "focused" and enthusiastic young men).
While Nana and Bat-Girl made sure that her sissie, Addy, and brother, Kelvie, were keeping up with their home-schooling, the two oldest boys went off to "Teenpact" every day, where they learned to understand the US political process, while appreciating their liberty and how they can engage in the culture of our great country (they clean up well!)...
