Wonga Beach Community Planting

DAINTREE Life and Douglas Shire Council invite you to a community planting at Wonga Beach to plant 500 trees to repair and expand an area of foreshore vegetation which used to be weeds.

Port Douglas Gets Water Wise

NEW digital smart water meters will be installed at 900 houses in Port Douglas from next week.

Douglas Shire Council has engaged meter installation company, Data Right, to fit the new equipment under the smart water program.

2022 Variety Jet Trek To Finish At Port Douglas

The 7-day trek will be finishing in Port Douglas on Saturday 26 March.

Support crews will collect participants and their jet skis from Market Park as they arrive throughout  the morning, resulting in heavy traffic use of the Port Douglas Boat Ramp and car park.
