Free SNAP EBT Equipment Program
The Farmers Market Coalition (FMC) will continue to partner with USDA Food Nutrition Service (FNS) on providing free SNAP EBT Equipment to newly authorized farmers markets and direct-marketing farmers, in addition to those looking to replace broken or nonfunctional equipment.

Through this program, FNS will cover the costs of purchasing or renting SNAP EBT equipment and services (set-up costs, monthly service fees, and wireless fees) for up to three years.  After their application has been approved, eligible farmers and farmers markets will choose their own SNAP EBT service provider from a list of participating companies.  Information on the service providers—Dharma, MarketLink, MerchantSource and TSYS—is available online.  Transaction fees (for SNAP EBT, credit, and debit payments) are not covered through this program.

*FMC application and more information on eligibility and other program requirements -  this program is first come, first served!

*Note: the MarketLink program first launched by FNS, and now continued by the National Association of Farmers Market Nutrition Programs, Inc. (NAFMNP), will also continue to be a resource for those looking to procure free EBT equipment. NAFMNP has negotiated its program through WorldPay.

Attention
Cottage Food Producers:

The Colorado Dept of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) now has a new webpage with all the stakeholder meeting information so you can stay up-to-date on how the new cottage foods law will take shape and be part of the process.
The next public meeting is scheduled for FRI FEB 12 at the CDPHE offices in Cherry Creek. Call-in information will be posted to the webpage for those who would like to join the discussion remotely.

HERE'S TO A SUCCESSFUL 2016 MARKET SEASON!
