PDOA Organ Crawl postponed

Please note that the PDOA organ crawl in East Northants, due to take place on Saturday 23 September has had to be postponed.

We are very grateful to Stephen Barber for his work in organising the tour, and we hope to run it sometime next year, but it transpired at our committee meeting last week, that no committee members were available to help Stephen on the day.

We felt that it was unfair to ask him to make the arrangements, and to be the only person on duty.

Our next event is the AGM and concert on 4th October at 6pm. Now would be a good time to volunteer to be on the committee, if you get my drift!

In the meantime, Marius Carney writes about the Inaugural recital on the Peter Collins Organ at the English Martyrs School, Anstey Lane, Leicester LE4 OFJ on the same date, Saturday 23rd September at 4pm. Stephen Grahl is playing Bach, Whitlock, Vierne, Mendelssohn, Dupre, and some movements from Ian Farrington's Animal Parade. Great fun! He didn't say if there was an admission charge, so it might be wise to take some cash if you go over.

Best wishes
