I took a two week break (one for Spring Break) and one for .EDU in Monterrey AND Now I am back with tons of goodies for you!

5+ Creatively Productive Tips,
Tools, and Things to Love

😍An Instagram Account You Have to Check Out: Carl Hooker shared this in one of our most recent meetings. The Compliment Creations Instagram account shares compliment prompts that are perfect to spark gratitude. Two of my fave prompts are: "You Have Shown ____ by _____ and it Has Inspired Me to____" and "I'm Proud Of You For______. It Never Ceases to Amaze Me How _____ ."
📱An Organizational Hack You Will Love: I think we all know that I love my organizational hacks. Heather Marrs turned me on to Hello Teacher Lady. Shana, aka Hello Teacher Lady, has lots of great ideas and tips on her blog and YouTube channel. One of my faves is the custom headers for Google Keep. She has a blog post here and the corresponding YouTube tutorial for the process here.
🎥An Amazing Opportunity: A few weeks ago we hosted Eva Schloss, Holocaust survivor and step-daughter to Otto Frank (Anne Frank's dad). Having her speak and hearing her accounts of history and her life during this time was something I will never forget. The entire interview can be viewed here. A documentary was played prior to the interview. The interview in the video starts at 19:00. More info about the 15 minute documentary using 116 cameras that she references can be found here. This 2 minute video gives you an idea of the virtual reality exhibit.
⏰An Idea You May Love As Much As I Do: I have alluded to this idea of a 30 Day Digital (Social Media) Detox in a few of my newsletters. Now is the time for me to put my actions where my words are. I love social media and find it to be beneficial for both personal and professional use but I also feel like I need to reevaluate the time I spend on it, how it impacts me, and how I am really using it. I find the best way for me to process information is lists and blog posts so I thought a blog post was in order. The post includes 4 books that I highly recommend, why I feel like this is a need for me, 10 things I have already done to declutter my digital realm, and 7 more that I plan to do soon. My goal is to begin my 30 Day Social Media break on April 9th. Never fear though... I will still be in contact via email, my newsletters, and my blog posts. 😉
🍱A # I am Obsessed With: Discovered this one through a dear librarian friend.. #BookBentos. Book Bentos are cleverly and strategically designed images that are a compilation of a book you are reading and multiple objects that hold meaning or symbolism within the book. I have been exploring this idea within my reader's notebooks with the colors, images, and ephemera that I use, but this takes it to a whole new level. Here are some links to get you started. BookBento on Instagram, BookBento Hyperdoc, and #BookBento. And add Thinglink to this idea... and wow... endless possibilities! Here is an example.

Sharing #CreativelyProductive

👉The first Creatively Productive book study is under way. The Book Study will go through early June so there is plenty of time to join in. The schedule is listed above. Don't feel like you have to be there for the entire book study. You can always just pop in for a week or a favorite chapter. #OrEdChat is the place to be. If these dates and times don't work for you BUT you are interested in participating and/or hosting a book study in your time zone, please fill out this interest form.

😊A Favor... Amazon reviews are how people locate and connect with books that they will love. If you have enjoyed Creatively Productive and/or found it helpful to you and your profession, please take a moment and leave an Amazon review. It would mean the world to me.
