Thank your volunteers
Term 4 is a great time to say 'thanks' to all your P&C's volunteers. A simple 'thank you' goes a long way, but a special mention at a school assembly, or specific event such as a morning tea is bound to make people feel more appreciated and help your P&C continue to recruit helpers (now is also a good time to find recruits for next year's committee members - see our resources to help).
We've teamed up with the Education Directorate to produce a professionally designed Certificate of Appreciation which schools or P&Cs can download, add the volunteer name and print. Presented at a special event, these can have a lasting impact. The Directorate have distributed these to all principals so that they are ready to use at your school, or download them from our website.

World Teachers' Day
This Friday (October 27) is World Teachers' Day - a great excuse to express the gratitude we feel for all those hard-working teachers who make a difference to our kids and our schools. If your P&C organises a special 'thank you', we'd love to hear about it (tag us in on social media or email pics)!
