A video to promote your P&C?
Video is a great communication tool, but we don't all have the skills and time!
So to help out, ACSSO (the national public school body of which Council is a member) has teamed up with Filmpond to create video templates to help public schools (and P&Cs) create short, engaging videos quickly and easily.
There's a template specifically to introduce your P&C to parents at your school, tell them what you do and how to get involved! Filmpond has great tools to help you story-board your video. The templates are free to use if you do your own editing. Find our more here.

Walk & ride to school
National Ride2School Day is this Friday (25 March). It's a great excuse to encourage everyone at your school to walk, skate, ride or scoot to school (and reduce parking issues).
If you think your kids need to improve on their road safety skills first, the Australian Road Safety Foundation has created RoadSet, a free online interactive road safety learning experience for your family. There are also resources for schools and teachers. The aim is to help young people become better road users – and make Australian roads safer for everyone.

While their programs are fee for service, they also have a scholarship fund that people can apply for.
